Hello All! A new challenge and new images are released today at
A Day For Daisies. Boy, the new challenge was definitely tricky for me. You are to use pastel colors in your project but there's a catch ---a major catch in my opinion *snicker*---- NO PINK. Yes, it's true, PINK is barred from this challenge. Say it isn't so. I'm outraged - LOL :). I LOVE PINK but I actually pulled this one off. Thank goodness for lavender! I used "
Lazy Summer" and colored it up with all the 000 and 0000 copics I have in all colors (except pink..grrr) :D Then, I had this cute little wood shadow box so I painted it up with white acrylic paint and added a printed paper frame (cut with square SB Nesties). I made the flower from the same paper and added a couple fabric flowers and glitter embellishments. Overall, I'm really liking it even if there isn't pink in there ;)

I am clutching my chest for air trying to breathe....... NO PINK?!?!?! coming the day after National Pink Day?!?! oh my goodness..... I can do this. I think..... grins!

Oh the soft lavender here is oh so pretty! Been trying to play along with these challenges for months! I even bought a bunch at the summer sale. Maybe this time. So so Sweet! xxD
