With the super hot days here the last thing I want is to get sick but with my allergies and the heat and humidity, I feel like I have a head cold - ugh! At least it inspired me to make this card :).
This little cutie is a digital image from Pink Cat Studio, and is appropriately titled, "Sick Lily." I printed her on Beckett Expression Radiance 80 lb Cardstock (for coloring) and on Heidi Grace Flocked printed paper (for Lily's stylin' chair ;). I used both Copics and Prismacolor pencils (blended with Gamsol) to color most of Lily (and her kitty is colored just like my kitty) :D Her fluffy bunny slippers are flocked using Our Craft Lounge Sparkly Fluff (cotton candy) and embellished with black and pink pearls (eyes & nose).
Though it doesn't show up in the photos, the thermometer is coated with Glossy Accents so it has a glassy look. The card is from DCWV -I love their card sets. I usually get the plain cardstock ones but these printed ones were so pretty, I decided to give them a try. I am not sure about where the flocked brads came from. I thought they were doodlebug designs but it's possible they are from Making Memories.
I am off to get some tea; looking at Lily's little red nose reminds me to pick up some of those tissues with the lotion in them. ;)
Very cut card Lisa!
