Sleeping Beauty

I adore Tammy Thompson's artwork! Her digital stamps are so beautiful and delicate. This image, Love's First Kiss, is one of several fairy tale-themed digital stamps available on her newly opened website, A Day For Daisies.

Beauty is colored with copics. She is slumbering on a stone pedestal cut from the Cricut cartridge, "Happily Ever After." I used a piece of printed cardstock from DCWV Be Mine stack and handcut the branches you see hanging above her. The vellum butterflies were cut with a MS punch and embellished with small clear rhinestones. The daisies were handcut from a sheet of Heidi Grace shimmer paper and the purple and pink flowers were from punches also. The card is a Bazzill A7 card and I added the decorative edge (MS punch) using the printed DCWV cardstock.

So here Beauty sleeps waiting for her prince--pure of heart--to fall in love with her and place upon her lips a kiss...love's first kiss... *sigh*
