My sister, brother-in-law, and my niece (and the pups - Atom, Mimmzee, and Luke!) are on their way from Indiana to visit me here in Virginia. It's a 13 hour drive - UGH! - and a little over half way here, they started having car trouble :( So, I am sending out prayers that they can get here safe and sound. It seemed like a good time to post my angel card! The image is a digital stamp by an incredible artist, Tammy Thompson, who graciously makes her art work available in digi form on Etsy.com, at A Day for Daisies. Check it out! I used Pearl Ex on her gown, tinsel glitter on her wings, Copic markers, gold Stickles for her halo, and a blue Souffle pen for the blue bird. The image is layered between craft plastic to make it look like she's floating in the Heavens! I used a Bazzill A7 card and the pearl layer is from American Crafts. The cloud printed paper is something I've had for a really long time although I know I see it at the craft stores all the time. I unfortunately do not know where the ribbon came from. I really like it and want to replenish my stash! The tiny ribbon flower is by Offray.
So! In the time it has taken me to post this, my sister called and they are under two hours away!!! I'm going to keep sending out the prayers and can't wait to see them pull in the driveway :)
