Happy Valentines Day!

When I take down the Christmas decorations, one thing that helps the doldrums of de-sparkling the house is decorating for Valentine's Day.  I have collected a few Valentine's treasures over the past few years thanks to thrift stores.  Here are a few of my favorites!

A couple years ago, Dan and I took a long weekend and headed to Winchester for a mini-getaway. We wanted to do some antiquing and found some thrift shops along the way.  I found this darling picture (print?) in a Goodwill:

It's true, cupid does have quite an effect on people as it was instant love :)   It's marked "Hughes and Lyman Co. 1911" and titled, "Cupid Waiting."  It was $2.

Such a sweet face!

I put up some other Valentine's decorations--

The pink and red mosaic candle holders (inside the hurricanes on either side of the mantel) came from BThrifty last year:

I love pink lights under the iridescent garland!

I picked up another little cupid at BThrifty:

It's a candy dish!

It's holding chocolates in the foyer :)  The lamp is a thrift find from 2012 (this post).  It's the wink of cranberry glass that makes it a favorite of mine, along with the clear glass shade.  The banner and metal filigree lights are from target.  The small angel print is a thrift find from Salvo ($1).  The hydrangea arrangement is from Joss and Main.

The antique mantel is holding a $3 antique mirror, another arrangement from Joss and Main and the crocheted heart garland (I made!).  The lighted "Love" is from Target.  There's another tiny cupid too (also from the thrift shop!).

Another cupid!  I love that this little guy is blowing kisses!  It's very dainty.

One final favorite find:

This sweet vintage vase.  I found it a few years ago (this post) and since it is so simple and sweet, it's one of my favorites.  It's marked R/B Japan.

I'm linking up!
